WASHINGTON, Oct. 25 (CGTN) -- Police Thursday intercepted the ninth suspicious package at a mail facility in New Castle County, Delaware, CBS News reported. The mail was addressed to former Vice President Joe Biden, the report said.

Earlier another package was found at a New York restaurant and was addressed to actor Robert De Niro, who also owns that restaurant. Robert De Niro is a critic of U.S. President Donald Trump.

From Washington to New York to Florida to Los Angeles,‍ the authorities have intercepted pipe bombs mailed to several prominent Democrats, including former President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, as well as a CNN bureau.
