Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 29 – The ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Retreat (AMM Retreat), to be hosted by Cambodia, is scheduled for the 16 and 17 of February, according to Cambodian foreign minister Prak Sokhonn.

“Special Envoy Prak Sokhonn said he is now working on the preparation of the program for his First Visit as the Special Envoy to Myanmar and his priorities in implementing the 5PC to be discussed during the upcoming AMM Retreat, which is scheduled for the 16 and 17 of February, the preparation for the organisation of a multi-stakeholders consultative meeting on Humanitarian assistance, which will have the support and cooperation of the ASEAN Secretariat (ASEC) and the United Nations Secretary General (UNSG)’s Special Envoy and will garner all pragmatic humanitarian approaches from local, regional and international humanitarian experts and agencies to facilitate the speedy delivery of humanitarian assistance,” according to the press release seen by Fresh News on Saturday.

The AMM Retreat, scheduled to be held on 18-19 January, was postponed due to the difficulty for many ASEAN foreign ministers to travel to join the meeting in Siem Reap.
