Phnom Penh (FN), Feb26 – Deputy Prime Ministry Hor Namhong confirmed that 24 Cambodian businesses are currently investing in Myanmar with "Wing" specialized banking soon to join.

“Now, there are 24 Cambodian enterprises are in Myanmar and soon advanced specialized banks Wing will invest in Myanmar as well, but there aren't any Burmese businesses operating in Cambodia yet,” stated Hor Namhong before leaving for a state visit to Myanmar on Feb. 26.

“Cambodia and Myanmar continue to work together to promote tourism, as Myanmar is home to the famous tourist destination, Bagan. Like Angkor Wat in Cambodia, Bagan attracts both national and international visitors. The two countries will work together to promote tourism to these sites.

Air Emirates will launch a direct flight from Yangon, Myanmar to Cambodia, which will help bring visitors to Cambodia.

DPM stated that Cambodia and Myanmar will work together to increase the trade volume between the two countries both on land and air.
