Phnom Penh (FN), March 16 - Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen decided to nominate Bin Chhin, incumbent deputy prime minister to replace the late Sok An.
The nomination received Thursday said Bin Chhin will be acting minister in charge of the Office of the Council of Ministers.
Sok An, 66, died of illness at Beijing hospital in China on Wednesday at 6:32 pm.
His funeral will last four days until cremation ceremony to be held on March 19.
Sok An served as minister of the Office of the Council of Ministers since 1993, and promoted as deputy prime minister and minister with the same portfolio from 2004.
