Phnom Penh (FN), April 7 – King Norodom Sihamoni appealed to National Assembly (N.A) to solve facing issues to ensure harmony, peace, political stability, and sustainable development.

The King’s written appeal was made during the 8th N.A's plenary sessions of the 5th mandate on Friday.

“I hope the N.A will put effort in solving the remaining issues to ensure peace, political stability, security and social order to reach sustainable development with equity,” his majesty King reiterated.

Over the past time, the N.A has put effort in developing health, education, and social affairs.

Education and health are great investment, as family and knowledge are foundations of the nation.

“The efforts of all the N.A’s members in solving problems for people in the provinces are the acts of serving people who are the owners of the nation,” wrote the royal remarks.

His majesty King appreciated and thanked N.A’s president Heng Samrin and all the members for serving people and the nation over the past mandates.

His majesty also appreciated Prime Minister Hun Sen for heading the Royal Government of Cambodia and for ensuring political stability and peace to achieve high rate of economic growth and poverty reduction over the past years.
