PHNOM PENH (FN), Jan. 10 — Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen has reached out to Cambodian constituents through his social network with not only photo snapshots and selfie but also his messages assuring Cambodian constituents that every consultation and decision are made responsibly by the party and for the sake of national interests.
Commenting on the snapshots he said he had taken by himself on the first day of the conference, and posted on his Facebook, the Prime Minister said: “As a party liberating people from Pol Pot Genocidal regime, holding firmly the flag of independence, sovereignty, peace and national reconciliation, alongside multiple-sector development, especially the social-economic sector, the party has discussed domestic and foreign policies and responsibly made decisions on the destiny of both the country and the people.”
Apparently mocking opposition party, the Premier said: “As the ruling party, we will not make such empty promises like other parties do; we do what we say.”
“We would like to thank all the compatriots for your supports to and beliefs in us. We look forward to getting more supports in the upcoming elections,” he added.
The 39th CPP’s conference is scheduled for two days, from Jan. 9-10, 2016 at Diamond Island’s Koh Pich Theatre, with over 500 participants who are members of the Party Central Committee.
