PHNOM PENH, Jan. 12 (FN) - At least five people were killed and 68 others were injured by traffic accident that took on Tuesday morning in Cambodia's western province of Kompong Speu.
In a statement released by Labor Ministry, it said the accident took place at around 6:30 a.m. in Kong Pisey district in Kampong Speu province when the two vehicles collided.
Ma Savath, governor of Kong Pisei district, said the two trucks were taking workers to factories when the accident happened.
In recent years, Cambodia has been alarmed with traffic accidents that claim roughly 5 lives per day.
