Phnom Penh (FN), May 6 - Prime Minister Hun Sen thanked former opposition party leader, Sam Rainsy for wishing him a speedy recovery.

"I deeply thanked H.E Sam Rainsy for wishing me when I am sick. I wish you and your family all the best," the premier responded to Rainsy's wish.

Earlier today, Rainsy wished the premier a speedy recovery.

"My best wishes for a full and speedy recovery to Prime Minister Hun Sen," Rainsy wrote on Twitter attached with a photo.

The premier is currently being treated in for exhaustion in Singapore.

He is scheduled to return to Cambodia on May 7th.
