PHNOM PENH (FN), Jan. 20 — Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen said Wednesday that medical checks in Singapore proved that he is completely fit and that nothing to be worrisome, although he is getting a little older.

In a message posted on his Facebook page on Jan. 20, the premier said "Once again, I would like to say thank you to all of you for your consideration of my health issues. After careful checks and examination performed by both Singaporean and Cambodian doctors, they confirmed that I am well-fit and that although I am getting older, there is nothing of concern.”

The premier said the doctors were happy to see that he had stopped smoking and that his legs and arms were still full of energy as he is a golf-player.

“Doctors recommended that I do more swimming exercises, but I told them that I did not have a swimming pool and I could do more with golfing," said the premier.

“With good health, I will be able to continue to work further for peace and socio-economic development for the sake of the country and the people,” he added.
