PHNOM PENH (FN), Jan. 25 — A young woman was apprehended by the police on Jan. 25 for allegedly posting a photo-shopped picture of Prime Minister Hun Sen on her Facebook account suggesting the Premier died in Singapore, police said.
The young woman’s name was not provided by the police. But according to a copy of her ACLEDA Bank card that was made available to the press, she was identified as Det Mengkheang.
She was arrested by the Internal Security Police of the Ministry of Interior at around 8:30am of Jan.25 at Steung Meanchey district, Phnom Penh, for questioning. Police added that they are also chasing after four or five other accomplices.
