PHNOM PENH (FN), Jan. 26 — Foreign Minister Hor Namhong told his visiting U.S. counterpart on Jan. 26 that Cambodia’s position with regard to the disputes in the South China Sea remains unchanged.
“Cambodia reiterated that its position toward the South China Sea disputes is unchanged and that means Cambodia would like to see all sides involved in the disputes meet and talk with each other peacefully so that using of forces could be avoided,” said Hor Namhong after the meeting with the U.S. Secretary of States, John Kerry,
In relation to the Hydro-bomb test by North Korea, Hor Namhong said, Cambodia, like other countries is absolutely opposed to it.
The meeting and discussions between Hor Namhong and John Kerry finished after 10 am of Jan. 26 at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
