Beijing (FN), Apr. 22 – On April 21, Sun Haiyan, Vice Minister of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, met more than 30 political parties and party media leaders from over 15 countries, who are participating in a global training class for party media leaders in Beijing.

Sun Haiyan said that political parties, as representatives and guides of public opinion, attached great importance to using the media to explain the party's philosophy, guide the people, and promote national development.

The vice minister continued, the Communist Party of China affirmed its willingness to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with all friendly political parties and their media, jointly respond to the challenges brought by the current century-old changes and the development of information technology, expand the cooperation between political parties and media, strengthen the voice of fairness and justice in the world, safeguard the common rights and interests of the Global South, and promote the development and progresses of the human civilization.

Political party media from all countries are welcome to make good use of this opportunity to visit China, travel more and see more, and actively publish objective reports to help people of all countries understand the real China and the Chinese Communist Party.

On the occasion, foreign parties stated that the great achievements of Chinese-style modernisation have provided spiritual inspiration and experience enlightenment for relevant countries to explore modernisation paths that suit their own national conditions. They expressed willingness to actively publicise China's economic and social development achievements and create a good public opinion atmosphere and public opinion foundation for the development of bilateral relations. They also pledged to work with the Communist Party of China in the future to stand on the right side of history, actively participate in exchanges and cooperation between political parties and media, promote cooperation in various fields to achieve more results, work together to respond to global challenges, and jointly safeguard international fairness and justice.
