Phnom Penh (FN), July 19 - Prime Minister Hun Sen shared a Facebook post proclaiming that the number of CPP members has risen since the 4th mandate of the commune-council elections.
He also claimed that support for the CPP has increased sharply not only at home, but abroad as well.
The post reflected his beliefs that increase in membership will become more evident as elections grow nearer and the CPP will be victorious in 2018.
PM further explained that the underlying factor behind the increase is peace and that people were aware of the value of peace under the efforts of the Prime Minister.
“A long-lasting peace, a long-lasting development”, stated the premier.
“Today, international and local investors are very confident in the Prime Minister's leadership; ensuring good investment conditions with political stability and social security, unlike false exaggerations being made by some critics.
At the same time, tourism is on the rise and is expected to reach 5 million people this year.
People can find jobs and small businesses will be provided with a decent income that improves livelihoods”, stated the premier.
