STEUNG TRENG (FN), Feb.2 — Cambodian Anti-Drug police, through the Border Liaison Office (BLO), and in cooperation with Laotian partner posting on the border crossings between Cambodia’s Stung Treng province, around 455km to the northeast of Phnom Penh, and Laos apprehended 5 Laotians drug ringleaders who were suspected of importing drug from Laos for sale in Cambodia.
Gen. Mak Chito, Deputy Director General of National Police, said that upon the arrest of the five suspects, 20,000 pills of Meth, two vehicles and two handguns were seized. The five suspects were handed over to the Laos’ Anti-Drug Police in Champasak province to be handled according to their legal procedure, the Gen. said.
