Phnom Penh (FN), Feb.3 - Six suspected drug traffickers including three men and three women were Wednesday’s morning tried by Phnom Penh Municipal Court over allegations that they have sold a package of methamphetamines powder weighed more than 100 grams to undercover police in Phnom Penh’s Tuol Kork Distrct on April 11, 2015 night.
Mr. Kim Rathnarin, Presiding Judge at Phnom Penh Municipal Court said the six accused people are: Ourn Dalin, female, 27 years old, Phan Viphea, female, 42 years old, Lam Sokha, female, 61 years old, Ouk Heng, male, 46 years old, Im Seangmeng, male, 36 years old, and Sorn Kosal, male, 34 years old.
He added, they were charged by municipal court’s prosecutor under article 40 of Cambodian Anti Drug Police. They were arrested by Ministry of Interior’s anti drug police on April 11, 2015. After cracking down and their arrests, police seized a black package of mets weighed 105.64 grams.
Their verdicts will be released on the morning of March 02, 2016.
