Phnom Penh (FN), September 5 – Secretary General of National Assembly (NA), Leng Peng Long, said on Tuesday that the N.A Standing Committee will hold a meeting to review CNRP president Kem Sokha’s immunity.

The representatives of the PPMC on Tuesday accused Kem Sokha of committing treason.

CNRP’s president is facing a penalty of 15 to 30 years in prison based on article 443 of the criminal code, according to Ly Saphana, spokesperson for the prosecution.

However, the secretary general has yet to confirm how the Standing Committee of the National Assembly will decide.
