Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 23 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet received a courtesy call by Chairul Tanjung, Chairman of CT Corp, on 22 November 2024 at the Peace Palace.

During the meeting, the CT Corp chairman informed the premier that CT Corp is a large Indonesian conglomerate with diverse business operations, especially in the financial, entertainment, real estate, hotel, and shopping mall sectors. He praised Cambodia's rapid development and expressed keen interest in exploring investment opportunities in the country.

For his part, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet welcomed CT Corp's interest in investing in Cambodia, highlighting the country’s vast potential in export and domestic markets. He outlined the Royal Government’s policies and initiatives to foster a competitive, business-friendly environment. The premier also highlighted Cambodia’s extensive regional and global market connections, bolstered by numerous bilateral and multilateral free trade agreements. He encouraged the conglomerate to engage with Cambodian ministries, institutions, and local partners to explore these prospects.

On the occasion, Samdech Thipadei and the chairman of the CT Corp also exchanged views on opportunities and potential sectors, including: finance, real estate, agriculture and agro-industry, education, technology, tourism, theme parks, hotels, and shopping malls, etc.
