Europe (FN), September 26 – Hundreds of Cambodians citizens living in Germany, Switzerland and Britain, have joined the CPP and recognized the CPP Youth Working Group in a ceremony presided over by Hun Manet on Tuesday.

Hun Manet said that the organization meets the desire of Cambodians living abroad who are willing to support the CPP and to participate in party activities.

The arrangement is no different from any other overseas political recruitment that other parties have taken part in over the past time.

"CPP serves the people, we have a clear policy to help people everywhere- including students, citizens, and workers. We have a shared will. We value the party because it has helped people and those who dared to give up their lives to fight for peace,” stated Hun Manet, lieutenant general in the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces.

He thanked everyone for their participation, which showed a sense of solidarity as a united Cambodian.

The ceremony of CPP member recognition took place under the presence of Hun Manet was also attended the by Chairman of the Committee of Party and Youth Working Group in Europe, as well as several members of the party, according to Huot Hak, a head of youth organization in Europe.
