Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 12 - Prime Minister Hun Sen presided over the inauguration ceremony of the first intelligence training center that costed nearly $2 million.

The center is run by Hun Manith, a brigadier general in the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF).

Tea Banh, Minister of National Defense, senior officials from Ministry of National Defense, and thousands of armed forces were participated in the ceremony.

Hun Manith said that the intelligence training center was vital to the improvement of the intelligence of the Cambodian military in the context of the rapidly developing world. This center would also helped to conceal the identity of Cambodian intelligence officials.

PM Hun Sen also expressed his pride in the presence of the center because in the past few years, Cambodia sent intelligence officers to train in Thailand, making them aware of the capacity and strength of those officers.

"What I would like to emphasize is that I do not want intelligence officers to only report information, but they should also have the option of analyzing information derived from falsified sources,” added PM Hun Sen.
