Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 8 – General National Police spokesman Kirth Chantharith confirmed that the cut off the four border crossings at Ratanakiri province in December by the Vietnamese is not a big problem, and Cambodia is solving it.

He said that there are no people passing through those blocked routes.

Vietnam has blocked 4 passing routes in Andoung Meas district, Ratanakiri province since December 2017.

The decision was made when Cambodia objected to open a new official entry at the request of Vietnamese side, according to the report of General Commissariat of National Police dated January 8, 2017.

Both sides lost access to entry and communications with one another, according to Ratanakiri authority.
