(Phnom Penh): Bilateral trade between Cambodia and the United States exceeded USD 7.4 billion in the first half of 2026, rising 31.4 per cent from the same period last year, according to the General Department of Customs and Excise of Cambodia (GDCE).

The figures reaffirmed the United States as Cambodia's largest export market. Cambodian exports to the US reached USD 5.6 billion between January and June, an increase of 29.8 per cent year-on-year.

Meanwhile, imports from the United States surged 86.4 per cent to USD 307 million, reflecting stronger two-way trade and growing commercial ties between the two countries.

The continued expansion in bilateral trade highlighted the resilience of economic cooperation between Cambodia and the United States while contributing to Cambodia's economic growth. The Royal Government of Cambodia remained committed to strengthening trade relations and unlocking further opportunities for sustainable growth and shared prosperity for both nations.
