Over the past six months, Cambodia exported 170,483 tonnes of rice to China, Hong Kong, and Macau, generating nearly USD 99.67 million in revenue.
The GDCE data also showed continued growth in Cambodia’s trade with other key partners, including the United States, Viet Nam, and Japan.
In addition to China, Cambodia’s other major trading partners, including the United States, Vietnam, and Japan, also recorded growth in bilateral trade during the period.
Overall, Cambodia’s international trade reached more than USD 36 billion in the first half of 2026, an increase of 20.5 per cent compared with the same period last year. Exports totalled over USD 17 billion, up 19.5 per cent, while imports exceeded USD 19 billion, a 21.4 per cent increase.
The robust trade performance underscores the resilience of Cambodia’s economy, with expanding international trade expected to support sustained economic growth and long-term development.
