JAKARTA, Jan. 24 (Xinhua) -- The government of Indonesia on Wednesday send humanitarian aid for Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh.

"The evacuees there badly need aids," Indonesian President Joko Widodo said in Halim Perdana Kusuma air force base before the departure of the aid materials, which included medicine, food, and baby food, among others.

President Widodo said he would like to visit the refugees when he visits Bangladesh.

"I think our consistency to help Rohingya refugees is undoubted," said Widodo.
