(Phnom Penh): Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) thanked Dmitry Medvedev, Chairman of the All-Russian Political Party "United Russia", for the warm congratulations extended on his birthday, according to a letter seen by Fresh News on Tuesday (Aug. 11).

In the letter, Samdech Techo expressed deep appreciation for the sincere greetings and reaffirmed the strong, long-standing relations between Cambodia and the Russian Federation.

“I am deeply gratified by the close and long-standing friendship and relations between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Russian Federation, founded on solidarity, mutual respect, understanding, and mutually beneficial cooperation. It is noteworthy that these enduring bonds have gained considerable momentum over the years,” Samdech Techo wrote, adding that these enduring ties have gained considerable momentum over the years.

“I fully share Your Excellency's view on the importance of further strengthening inter-party cooperation between the Cambodian People's Party and the All-Russian Political Party "United Russia," which constitutes an important pillar in advancing the friendship and cooperation between our two countries."

Samdech Techo Hun Sen also expressed confidence that continued joint efforts would further deepen and broaden Cambodia-Russia relations across areas of mutual interest, bringing benefits to both peoples while contributing to peace, stability, and prosperity in the region and beyond.
