(Phnom Penh): The Japan-Cambodia Association (JCA) pledged to promote Cambodia's investment potential and attract more Japanese investors.
On Thursday (Sep. 10), Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet received JCA President Takahashi Fumiaki and his delegation at the Peace Palace.
The JCA highlighted three priority areas: vocational training, agriculture and digital industries, with plans for agricultural processing, skills training and cooperation with TOYOTA on automotive technician training.
The association also plans to hold investment seminars in Japan to promote Cambodia's investment environment, policies and incentives.
Samdech Thipadei welcomed the JCA's efforts, highlighted Cambodia-Japan cooperation on Sihanoukville Autonomous Port, and expressed hope for the development of a Cambodia-Japan Special Economic Zone.
