(Phnom Penh): Cambodian Information Minister Neth Pheaktra called for stronger human resources, institutional efficiency and administrative capacity to keep pace with Cambodia’s rapidly evolving digital society.
Speaking on Tuesday (Oct. 6) at a training course on human resource management and administrative documents, Neth Pheaktra said developing officials’ skills, experience and discipline is essential to improving the ministry’s performance.
He outlined five priorities: leadership, institutional efficiency, human resources, law enforcement and professional ethics, and information diplomacy and international communications.
“Human resources are one of our priorities,” the minister said, stressing their importance to both the ministry and the Royal Government.
On the occasion, Neth Pheaktra also urged officials to strengthen administrative procedures, discipline and accountability and apply their training to improve the information and audiovisual sectors.
