Phnom Penh (FN), March 9 - The citizen confirmed to Fresh News in an interview on Friday afternoon that there was no death in the clashes in Kratie province's Snuol district yesterday.

Tin Pheak, one of the villagers in Snoul district, publicly apologized for falsely reporting to Radio Free Asia, as she was was too panicked.

"No one dies, only two injured. I apologize to the public and accept my fault. I was too panicked. I heard from others that 6 were dead," said Tin in an interview with Fresh News on Friday.

Perng Vin, Pi Thnou commune chief, also confirmed that no deaths in the clash, as no funerals held.

The violent clash between citizens and local authorities at a rubber plantation in Kratie province’s Snuol district on Thursday afternoon came after the villagers have blocked three sites of National Road 76, causing an hour of traffic jam.

Kratie provincial governor confirmed that the case indeed caused two villagers injured.
