Phnom Penh (FN), April 6 - His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, left Cambodia on Friday morning for a four-day ceremony purposes to Japan from April 6-9, 2018.

During the visit, His Majesty King will attend the Grand Opening of the Nalada Mahavihara Assembly and join the 4th anniversary of the International Buddhist Day in Japan.

The supreme Buddhist leaders from 41 countries across the 5 continents in the world have unanimously resolved to establish April 8, Lord Buddha’s Birthday, as the at the Sixth Buddhist Summit conference, held in Japan 2014, according to Buddhist Summit webpage.

His Majesty will return to Cambodia on April 9, 2018.
