Japan (FN), April 25 - Hun Manet, Lieutenant General in Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, on Wednesday, met with Shigeki Takizaki, Director-General of the Asian Oceanian Affairs Bureau of Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs to strengthen Cambodia-Japan bilateral cooperation.

Manet, the eldest son of Prime Minister Hun Sen, informed Shigeki Takizaki the real situation in Cambodia, particularly current stability and development that contribute to the growth of Japanese investment in Cambodia.

Shigeki Takizaki highly commended the good cooperation of Cambodia-Japan and applauded Cambodia’s development today.

Manet is on a five-day trip to Japan from April 24 to 29, 2018, at the invitation of the Japanese government to strengthen and deepen the understanding of Cambodian-Japanese bilateral relations under Program for Strategic Exchanges on Practical Level-STEP.

During his visit, Hun Manet will pay a courtesy call on senior leaders of Japanese government, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defense, Self-Defense Forces, Liberal Democratic Party, and other Japanese dignitaries and parliamentarians.
