Turkey (FN), April 25 - Turkey and Cambodia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen civil aviation and promote direct flights between Cambodia and Turkey.

The bilateral meeting and the signing of MoU was made between Mao Havannall, Secretary of State of the Civil Aviation of Cambodia, and Yuksel Coskunyurek, Turkish Deputy Minister of Transport and Communication, on April 24, 2018, in Antalya, Turkey, in the Asia-Pacific Conference on Civil Aviation, according to Civil aviation spokesman Sinn Chanserey Vutha on Wednesday.

During a meeting with Thong Khon, Minister of Tourism, on April 19, 2018, Ayda Ünlü, Turkish Ambassador to Cambodia pledged to launch Cambodia-Turkey direct flight to promote tourists.

Turkey operates direct flights to 250 cities in 119 countries, including ASEAN countries such as Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines and Indonesia.
