Japan (FN), April 26 - Hun Manet, Lieutenant General in Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, on Thursday, met with IC Parliamentary Friendship Group in Japan, headed by Yukihisa Fujita, Director of Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defense and Miyake Shingo, Chairman of Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defense.

The meeting discussed the real political situation in the country to counter the misleading information pointed out by the opposition.

Law enforcement play important roles to ensure social order, stability, democracy, peace and development in Cambodia in accordance to the rule of law of society. Cambodia is committed to embrace democratic principle based on rule of law.

Manet is on a five-day trip to Japan from April 24 to 29, 2018, at the invitation of the Japanese government to strengthen and deepen the understanding of Cambodian-Japanese bilateral relations under Program for Strategic Exchanges on Practical Level-STEP.

During his visit, Hun Manet will pay a courtesy call on senior leaders of Japanese government, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defense, Self-Defense Forces, Liberal Democratic Party, and other Japanese dignitaries and parliamentarians.
