Phnom Penh (FN), May 2 – Prime Minister Hun Sen welcomed all political parties who submitted their candidate lists to the National Election Committee for the 6th mandate National Assembly Member Election.

“I would like to welcome all political parties who have submitted their candidate lists for the forthcoming election on July 29, 2018. It is obvious that Cambodia is upholding and implementing democracy. In this sense, all political parties, big or small, have the rights to race in the free election,” the premier wrote on his Facebook post on Wednesday.

The premier also expressed his joy towards Tuesday’s gathering with over 5,000 workers at the Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone, celebrating the International Labour Day.

“I am content to see all of you blessed with health, better working conditions, proper wages, and other benefits from the company. The Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) has put much efforts in protecting and providing more benefits during your working age and retirement,” he added.

The Head of Government also expressed his gratitude for the CPP’s members and supporters for trusting his leadership and continuing to vote for the CPP to develop the nation harmoniously.

According to the NEC, three parties including Cambodian People's Party, Cambodian Nationality Party, and Cambodian Youth Party have submitted their candidate lists among the 16 parties that received registration forms for the 6th mandate National Assembly Member Election.
