Phnom Penh (FN), May 22 - Prime Minister Hun Sen reacted to former opposition party Sam Rainsy for accusing Prime Minister as a man behind the newly created parties. He claimed that Rainsy's statement insulted the new parties, speaking at a graduation ceremony of Royal University of Law and Economics on Tuesday morning at the Diamond Island Exhibition Center.

"There are 20 parties participating in the upcoming election, and it’s not a joke. Some people accused that I’m the one who established those new parties, which is an insult,” said the premier.

"Political parties, whether big or small, are equally privileged in the democratic process,” he added.

Many political parties called Rainsy a man who attempted to destroy election climate.
