Phnom Penh (FN), May 25 - Cambodian People's Party spokesman Sok Eysan on Friday called the letter of Cambodia National Rescue Movement leader Sam Rainsy an incitement for separation between the King and the executive branch.

"It is a crazy idea that Sam Rainsy sent a letter to inform His Majesty King that the government pressured the King," said Sok Eysan.

"Rainsy always use the culture of color on others," he added.

CPP spokesman's reaction came after Sam Rainsy sent a letter in French-language dated on May 24, 2018 to His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni, requesting His Majesty not to follow the government and the CPP.

In his letter, Sam Rainsy accused the Royal Government of Cambodia and the CPP for seeking the King's intervention in urging people to vote on July 29, 2018.
