Phnom Penh (FN), May 3 – Four Cambodian patients living in Phnom Penh and Kampong Cham died of COVID19 between 1-3 May 2021, according to the Ministry of Health's announcement dated Monday.

A 24-year-old Cambodian man from Kampong Cham was tested positive on 29 April 2021. He had kidney failure and passed away at 18:30 on 1 May 2021.

A 40-year-old Cambodian man from Phnom Penh was tested positive on 13 April 2021. He passed away at 14:15 on 2 May 2021.

A 55-year-old Cambodian man from Phnom Penh was tested positive on 29 April 2021. He passed away at 17:20 on 2 May 2021.

A 61-year-old Cambodian man from Phnom Penh was tested positive on 28 April 2021. He passed away at 5:40 on 3 May 2021.

The patients passed away due to severe lung disease and respiratory crisis attacked by COVID19, the ministry confirmed.

To date, Cambodia has registered 106 cases of COVID19 fatality.
