Phnom Penh (FN), May 27 – Cambodia to host the 13th Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM13) on 25-26 November 2021, according to the National Commission for Organizing the ASEM13’s letter seen by Fresh News on Thursday.

The summit was initially slated to be held in November 2020, but Cambodia decided last July to postpone it due to COVID19.

Cambodia planned to host the meeting under the theme Strengthening Multilateralism for Shared Growth.

The Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) is an intergovernmental process established in 1996 to foster dialogue and cooperation between Asia and Europe.

ASEM addresses political, economic, financial, social, cultural, and educational issues of common interest in a spirit of mutual respect and equal partnership.
