SINGAPORE, Dec. 19 (Xinhua) -- Singapore reported 708 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, bringing the total tally to 2,190,057.

A total of 105 cases are currently warded in hospitals, with six of them held in intensive care units, according to statistics released by the country's Ministry of Health.

One new death from COVID-19 was reported on Monday, raising the total death toll to 1,710.
