Manila (FN), Feb. 11 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet received a courtesy call by Cris Acosta, a Filipino graduate of the United States Military Academy West Point (Class of 1982), on 10 February 2025 in Manila, the Philippines.

During the meeting, Cris Acosta, representing the West Point Alumni Association, expressed his sincere gratitude to Samdech Thipadei for allowing him to pay a courtesy call on and extend best wishes for the success of his trip. He and his fellow alumni also shared experiences and fond memories from their time at West Point. Additionally, Cris Acosta informed Samdech Thipadei that he and a group of other West Point alumni plan to visit Cambodia in the near future.

For his part, the premier expressed his pleasure in meeting Cris Acosta and the alumni delegation. He shared his own experiences and memories from his time at West Point and welcomed the group's intention to visit Cambodia. Furthermore, he encouraged Cris Acosta and his fellow alumni to strengthen ties with Cambodia’s West Point alumni, as well as with alumni from other Southeast Asian countries.
