Phnom Penh (FN), March 18 – Chen Qiuxong, President of Harbor Real Estate, has funded USD 1 million to Prime Minister Hun Sen’s lawyers to defend poverty-stricken women nationwide.

The fund was granted during Chen’s courtesy call on Prime Minister Hun Sen on Monday morning at the Peace Palace Phnom Penh.

"Cambodia has many potential opportunities, and what the Premier is doing now encourage more investors to Cambodia," said Chen Qiuxong, according to Premier’s personal secretary Eang Sophalleth.

Recently, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen established a group of lawyers called “Samdech Hun Sen Legal Team” led by lawyer Ky Tech.

According to the Prime Minister, his legal team, as of Monday, has the budget of USD 1.5 million; it consists of 67 members, including one president and four vice-presidents. The capital Phnom Penh has six lawyers, and each province will have two lawyers.
