Phnom Penh (FN), Sept. 18 - The Ministry of Interior, on Wednesday, approved a new political party “Khmer Conservative Party,” headed by Real Khemrin, a former lawmaker of the court-dissolved Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP), also one of nine CNRP officials to re-enter politics following his request for rehabilitation to the King.

Khemrin, former representative for Svay Rieng province, was one of 118 senior CNRP officials banned from all political activities for five years, as his former party leader was allegedly charged with committing treason.
