Phnom Penh (FN), Sept. 19 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen will lead delegates to attend two summits in South Korea in November 2019, namely ASEAN-RoK Commemorative Summit and the 2nd Mekong-Korea Summit to be held in Busan in November 2019.

During the visit, the premier also plans to visit Konyang University and meet with Cambodian workers in Korea.

The premier’s visit was planned after his meeting with Dr. Won Mook Lee, Director of Konyang University, and Dr. Hee Soo Kim, Founder of Konyang Education Foundation, held at the Peace Palace on Thursday.

Kao Kim Hourn, delegate minister attached to prime minister, said that the two South Korean delegates informed the premier that they had visited the KOICA-aided Ang Duong Eye Center, and the Royal University of Phnom Penh.

Prime Minister Hun Sen thanked the Korean delegates and encouraged them to continue supporting Cambodia's hospitals and universities, especially the training of Cambodian doctors.

He also highlighted that Cambodia has paid attention to the disabled people, pointing out to Krousar Thmey Foundation for their active participations.

According to Strongman, the Royal Government of Cambodia allocates huge budgets on health and education sector. She commits to prevent all kinds of diseases, especially the treatment of polio, measles, and tetanus; and entirely eliminate tuberculosis and malaria by the end of 2025.
