Phnom Penh (FN), Oct. 12 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen urged people to maintain peace, addressing at the meeting with 3,000 Christian Cambodians at the Diamond Island on Saturday.

“If we want to mention the rights to living and development, we must prioritize peace. Do not let our peace be threatened by the ill-intended people. The government will not let anyone destroy peace,” the premier stated.

Prime Minister stressed that the duty to protect peace is not the sole responsibility of the Royal Government, but also people from all religions.

If a country cannot maintain peace, no need to mention development and rights to worshiping a religion, he added.
