Hungry (FN), Oct. 15 – As long as Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) continues to win the elections, the Royal Government will not charge any taxes on farmland and from minimum wage workers, Prime Minister Hun Sen said in a meeting with Cambodian students in Hungary on 14 October 2019.

“If the CPP continues to win and I continue to lead, there will be no taxes on farmland and minimum wages. Our teachers’ salaries has increased to 1.3 million Khmer Riel [USD 325] but no taxes. The Ministry of Economy will make official announcement,” the premier addressed.

Prime Minister also informed them Cambodia’s peace and political stability that is driving the country's growth.

He advised them to study hard, respect the country's laws, and continue to pursue further education if scholarships available; he encouraged them to return to serve the country upon completing their studies.
