MANILA, Oct. 15 (Xinhua) -- Two Indonesian warships arrived in the Philippines on Tuesday for a four-day goodwill visit, the Philippine Navy said.

The Philippine Navy said the two corvettes were now docked at a port in Subic Bay Freeport Zone in the northern Philippines' Olongapo City, carrying around 260 Indonesian Navy personnel.

According to a statement of the Philippine Navy, the visiting Indonesian Navy personnel "will engage their Filipino counterparts during confidence-building activities such as shipboard tour, reciprocal receptions and friendly games."

The navies from the Philippines and Indonesia conduct a coordinated border maritime patrol exercise every year.

The visit was the second of its kind this year. In August, an Indonesian Navy training ship also dropped anchor in the Philippines for a goodwill visit.
