Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 12 – Regional Director of the WHO Western Pacific Regional Office Takeshi Kasai would like to extend his sincerest appreciation and commend Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen and the Royal Government of Cambodia, for the great efforts and achievements made in response to the COVID19 pandemic.

“Cambodia does not face these challenges alone; the World Health Organization stands with you and will continue to provide policy, technical and operational support to the Ministry of Health and the Royal Government of Cambodia. I greatly appreciate your continued trust in WHO,” according to Director Takeshi’s letter addressed to the premier dated 9 April 2021.
