Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 20 – Four Cambodian patients living in Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville died of COVID19 on 19 April 2021, according to the Ministry of Health's announcement dated Tuesday.

A 65-year-old Cambodian man was tested positive on 24 March 2021. He had diabetes and passed away at 7:20 on 19 April 2021.

A 72-year-old Cambodian man was tested positive on 9 April 2021. He had diabetes, heart disease and kidney failture. He passed away at 16:02 on 19 April 2021.

A 48-year-old Cambodian woman living in Sihanoukville was tested positive on 18 April 2021. She passed away at 13:40 on 19 April 2021.

A 40-year-old Cambodian woman was tested positive on 15 April 2021. She passed away at 06:28 on 19 April 2021.

"The four patients had severe lung disease and respiratory crisis attacked by COVID19," the ministry confirmed.

To date, Cambodia has registered 49 cases of COVID19 fatality.
