Phnom Penh (FN), Jul. 9 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen expressed concern over a surge of COVID19 cases along Cambodian-Vietnamese border, as some Vietnamese nationals continue to enter and exit Cambodia.

The premier addressed in a cabinet’s meeting held online on Friday.

Vietnam has recently detected over a thousand of new COVID19 cases, especially in Ho Chi Minh.

The premier instructed Minister of Interior Sar Kheng to take necessary measure to curb COVID19 at the borders.
