Phnom Penh (FN), Oct. 28 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen attended the 4th ASEAN-Russia Federation Summit, held on Thursday via videoconference.

The 4th ASEAN-Russia Summit convened in conjunction with the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Dialogue Relations between both sides.

“As Country-Coordinator for the ASEAN-Russia Dialogue Relations, Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen delivered the ASEAN Common Statement which highlighted the achievements of cooperation and proposed future actions to be jointly taken by ASEAN and Russia to further enhance partnership,” according to the outcomes of the summit seen by Fresh News on Thursday.

“The Summit adopted three important documents namely: (i) Statement of ASEAN and the Russian Federation on Cooperation against Illicit Drugs Trafficking; (ii) Joint Statement of the 4th ASEAN-Russia Summit: Building a Peaceful, Stable and Sustainable Region; (iii) Comprehensive Plan of Action to Implement the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and the Russian Federation Strategic Partnership (2021-2025). Two documents were also noted (i) Revised ASEAN-Russia Trade and Investment Cooperation Roadmap and (ii) ASEAN-Russia Trade and Investment Work Programme for 2021-2025.”
