Phnom Penh (FN), Oct. 29 – Secretary of state of the Health Ministry Or Vandine, representing Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen, handed over 200,000 doses of Sinopharm vaccine to the Vietnamese counterpart.

The handover ceremony took place on Friday at the Bavet-Moc bai border checkpoint between Cambodia’s Svay Rieng province and Vietnam’s Tây Ninh province.

The vaccine donation aims to assist Viet Nam fights COVID19.

The Royal Government of Cambodia has also donated COVID19 vaccines and equipment to Myanmar, East Timor, Laos, Viet Nam and Nepal.
