Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 4 – On 3 December 2021, the Asian Vision Institute (AVI), represented by Chheang Vannarith, president of AVI and VOHAR-Strategic Sight Centre, represented by executive president Samath Chan Somanith, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on establishing a cooperation between the two organisations in conducting joint research projects, training, and capacity building, as well as organisation of national and international events on Foreign Policy, Green Business, Impact on Investment, and Environmental and Social Governance (ESG).

The signing ceremony took place at the AVI Office.

Both sides expressed confidence that this cooperation would contribute to Cambodia's development, especially promoting economic diplomacy through training programmes, research, and policy recommendations to the government and relevant stakeholders.

"They highlighted the importance of cooperation and partnership between these two young thinktanks, which provide a platform for senior and young researchers to pursue their research interests and career," according to AVI press release seen by Fresh News on Saturday.
